Our Labor Gets Some Love

We’re happy to report that news has been buzzing about Red Line D.C.! Last month, Greater Greater Washington made mention of our documentary project in an article about a Brookland station graffiti mural. Just recently, Ethiopian-satellite show The Benchmark with Kallie Ejigu recently interviewed director/producer Saaret Yoseph about her perceptions of metro graffiti as an Ethiopian-American (link to come soon!). Two D.C.-based arts and culture blogs — Ennui and Hyperreal Me — have also given shout-outs to the documentary as it continues production. And today’s good word on our work comes by way of DCentric, the WAMU 88.5 blog about “the ways race and class interact in Washington, D.C.” Take a look at the post dedicated to our beloved project and show us a little more “local love” by commenting below.
